In this informative episode, we explore the question "How Old is Sixty?" as Tom grapples with discouraging results from his recent training rides. He questions whether sixty is too old to pursue a serious cycling goal or if age isn't a limiting factor. To help answer these questions, Tom is joined by expert guest, Kimberly Knowlton, DrPH, MSPT, an authority in the fields of physical therapy and public health.
Together, they engage in an enlightening conversation, where Dr. Knowlton shares her professional insights, personal observations, and scientific facts, ultimately
offering an encouraging and empowering perspective on the potential of individuals at any age.
Listen in as they discuss training smart in later years, the benefits of cycling, and how to adapt and overcome age-related challenges.

I mentioned that a GCN video showed the cyclist's HR didn't get above 77 bpm. I watched it again and found that I was looking at cadence not HR. However, his HR didn't get above 93, which is still amazing.
