You know how sometimes it can feel like you’ve got a million ideas going through your head all at once? In this episode, Ginny and Cassie are discussing what to do in a situation like that. First, Cassie recalls how she used to feel overwhelmed by these thoughts all the time. Ginny sees this happen to a lot of clients when they first find their alignment.
When we’re growing, we open up to so much more; we can see so much more. Cassie explains that one of the reasons it happens is you become open to the idea of internal aspects making you happy. Ginny adds in that it’s not what you do, but how you do it.
Realizing that you don’t have to act on every idea you generate is another important step. You can simply enjoy the process of being inspired and receiving ideas. Ginny encourages her clients to keep telling themselves “yes, thank you, next.” She addresses concerns people have about losing their great ideas.
The most important thing to remind yourself of in this situation is to let your ideas just be. An overwhelmed feeling comes from being analytical instead of just receiving. Cassie believes we get ideas because they give us a new place to see and play. We also hear about writing down ideas versus just leaving them in your head.
If you forget a thought, then it wasn’t important enough to be remembered. It’s fine to just let these go. You have access to your inspirations at all times, and you will get the perfect ideas at the perfect times.
