Happy new year Athletes!

What a start to the year it has been for me!

I had set so many exciting things to kick off in 2023 and instead, my body gave up on me.

I’ve spent all of December extremely ill, after a Tony Robbins event, and I’m still not anywhere close to 100%.

Full disclosure, I actually recorded this episode while in the bath and uploaded it today to share with you what's been going on with me in hopes that it resonates with at least one person today and let you know that you are not alone!

It’s moments like these that make me realize how grateful I am for my health, my life and my body.

I have discovered too that a little bit of movement every day has helped me so much with my mindset. Especially doing something outside in nature.  I’ve been walking almost daily and doing small workouts like I share on YouTube. And that has been a God send for my mental health.

Athlete, this is what consistency is all about it. It’s not the effort or intensity. It’s the commitment to nobody other than me that I honour my health and my mind, every single day.

So maybe this will resonate with you as well today. It’s not about never falling down, it’s about getting back up!
