Angela Iermieri is a financial planner and personal finance expert with over 20 years of experience, as well as a spokesperson for Desjardins Group. She shares her expertise and educates people on personal finance by writing articles in various internal and external publications, and by putting together informational videos, webinars, and conferences. In this episode, Angela outlines the differences between inflation and interest rates (and their special relationship with each other), what inflation was like at its peak in the 1980s (and why it was a very different scenario than what we're experiencing today), and what we can do as individuals in our daily lives to help quell inflation so it gets back down to a normal level.
