How to Know Who to Trust in Your Business

Recently, I had to fire two people in one day because they broke my trust. One person wasn’t completing critical tasks properly, and the other was intentionally avoiding responsibilities that were creating major problems in my business. It was awful. But it also forced me to think more deeply about something every business owner struggles with: how to know who to trust in your business.

Because the reality is, if you want to grow, you have to learn how to delegate. You cannot scale a business while doing everything yourself. But delegation doesn’t mean blindly handing things over and hoping for the best. It means creating strong quality control systems, learning how to evaluate people effectively, and knowing when to verify instead of simply trusting.

In this episode, I walk you through the exact things I look for when hiring clinicians, contractors, vendors, and support staff and how I use both experience and AI for clinicians to help me make smarter decisions.

In this episode, I discuss:

• Why learning how to delegate is essential if you want to grow your business

• How strong quality control systems protect your business from preventable problems

• The surprising ways I now use AI for clinicians and vendors to evaluate expertise

• Why effective quality control systems don’t mean you distrust your team

• How I use recordings, audits, and AI tools to strengthen how to delegate effectively

• The value of using free resources for therapists to better evaluate SEO, marketing, and business systems

• Why AI for clinicians can help practice owners make more informed leadership decisions

• How free resources for therapists can help you improve oversight without becoming controlling

If you’ve ever struggled with how to delegate, worried about trusting the wrong people, or realized your quality control systems might not actually exist, this episode will help you lead with more confidence, better oversight, and smarter use of AI for clinicians and other free resources for therapists.
