Today we’re going to be talking about how to overcome feelings of discouragement about growing your blog/Instagram/ or other social media channels. If you’re feeling down about not growing on social media, this podcast episode is for you.

Tip #1: Stop Focusing on the Daily Numbers
You CAN’T let daily metrics get to you. You are worth more than your following number and your engagement rate. The number of likes and comments doesn’t determine your value – you are a WHOLE HUMAN BEING.

Tip #2: Outline Your Short Term & Long Term Goals
When you write down your short term and long term goals, you define your success criteria and what you’re working towards that month or year.

Tip #3: Create When You Feel Inspired – Don’t force yourself to create if you aren’t inspired
It’s way too difficult to try to write, take photos, and create content when you’re feeling down, discouraged, or frustrated. 

If you’re feeling stuck but you want to create new content, take a step back and take a break. Do something fun, hang out with friends, take your mind off your tasks.
