A covert narcissist is someone who has narcissistic tendencies but isn't as obvious about it as a more grandiose type of narcissist. The covert narcissist might also be called a vulnerable narcissist or a closet narcissist. They've perfected the art of making themselves seem like the victim in most situations, and are manipulative people who gaslight others. I'll share signs of a covert narcissist, as well as some of their common behaviors and manipulation tactics, plus how to spot and deal with a covert narcissist.

The truth is that covert narcissists (also known as "closet narcissists") can be just as, if not more harmful than your average overt narcissist because they are masters of manipulation and gaslighting. They will go to extreme lengths to get what THEY want, and will not feel one ounce of remorse about laying waste to the lives that they touch.
