The Robinsons began their investment journey while Tony was still working full-time in 2020. He received a call just two days before Christmas, informing him that he was no longer employed. Earlier that same year, Sara left her W2 job to focus on running the Airbnbs full-time.

What’s your greatest source of motivation? For Tony, it's the ability to provide for his family. When he was a young father, during a period of financial hardship, he didn't have the funds to cover his son's medical treatment. This moment has remained etched in Tony's memory over the years, serving as a constant source of motivation. Sara, on the other hand, was unhappy in her job and felt that her talents were underutilized. As for Brian, his mother was his primary motivation for a long time. He recalls her distress over financial matters, and whenever possible, he would discreetly place his leftover lunch money into her purse. When Brian initially entered the real estate industry, his mother was struggling with their home's financial burden, so he committed himself to buying her a new one.
