Mike Spradling of the Flying G Ranch outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma talks about the pecan industry. Mike and his wife Lotsee operate the ranch her parents started in 1932 and still operate the Nut Shop to sell folks fresh pecans and other nuts as well as managing the ranch. Mike served on the board of the Oklahoma Pecan Grower's Association, Oklahoma Farm Bureau and many more.

Joel Naaf, a fifth-generation farmer at Naaf Farms in Marshall County, Kansas, carries on a family legacy that began when his ancestors arrived in America in 1869. After high school, Joel pursued a career in music, later using his master’s degree in Special Education to help students facing academic challenges. Nearly two decades later, he returned to the farm to work alongside his father, brother, and nephew. Today, Joel feels incredibly fortunate to farm, raise his family, and continue playing music—a life he describes as hitting the jackpot.

Thomas Enneking with Enneking Dairy is a fourth generation dairyman in Kansas. Enneking Dairy started in 1914 and Thomas and his brother moved home to build up the dairy to keep it in operations for the next generation.
