How Do You Measure Success? A listener feels stuck. He's making a lot of money but feels no sense of fulfillment in the work he's doing. Guess what? With that success he's not stuck. With the life experience he has at 45 years old, he can do a little introspection and move right into a better opportunity. Oh, and by the way, don't assume your income will drop. Doing something that's a better fit will set the stage for dramatic increase - even without a college degree.
Plus these questions:
1. What do you do when you are ridiculously passionate about so many different things?
2. How do I put a value on that 20 years of experience and college degree? It seems like all the avenues I find for "moving up" are with specific degrees, so I seem to be stuck on low-level, low-pay jobs.
3. I am a new graduate and applied for a position posted with a salary range of $24.08 - $37.61 hourly. As I move forward in the process of potentially getting hired by this company, how do I handle this part of the conversation?
4. I am 45 years old, and I make over $100,000 year, I'm not happy, even with that income it doesn't take away the pain of not finding my fulfillment. I'm frustrated and depressed and don't know where to start.
5. Dan, what are your thoughts on starting an ice-cream truck business? We found a truck for sale costing $8,000.
