sometimes it all starts with a blackberry bush and sometimes it all ends with one too.

there have been so many seasons where gardening has been my anchor and this year it provided me with an amazing perspective. i am so thankful that through your pruning and growing, we get to be together. so let's roll up our sleeves and do the dirty work together. life as it should be.

anywhere she is an anointed space. ikwb family favorite laney crowder sat with me one sunny afternoon in nashville to talk all things heartfelt harvested and riding the flow of summer. visionary OGs and almost birthday twins makes laney matter a little extra to my heart plus she was in the delivery room with me and that's a story all itself. the laughs, the banter, the golden nuggets of wisdom are cherished and abundant. pull up a chair and sit with us as we live now in our good old days, together.

in the simplification there is a melting away of old and welcoming new that cannot be done ((at least in my experience)) in the sweet chaos of the school season. so calm, unplugged, sunscreen scented, watermelon stained days are the mood.

it's like THE easiest to get stuck in day to day, the same schedule, the circumstances, the looming feelings of not enough. not enough time, not enough money, not enough muscle, the list can go on BUT what if for a moment it stopped? what if we take to time to really dream again. fall in love, dream like a kid again. lidless life is a moment in time that i have resurrected bc i miss a wide open world and mind. and if you do too, this little pep rally is just for you.

whew. not my typical holy week tribute but some real honesty and moments of clarity. our go to "sorry we can't, it's holy week" has been replaced. this holy week feels different. abundant? yes. full? completely. being the hands and feet of Jesus in noisy, but really beautifully chaotic, times. all the goodness. all at once. all the emotions. all at once. death. promise. life again. perhaps a holy yes is exactly what the answer should be. i love you. way too much. forever. happiest holy week my friends.
