Snippets to catch this episode:

250: What if your business was run like a juicy red strawberry stand, only in season in the summer? And the rest of the year was focused on planting the seeds, watering them, and nurturing them with enough sunlight to burst out of the ground? This is the beauty of seasonal working - or what I’m coining as wavy marketing.
In this solo ep, I break down the components of wavy marketing, explaining how it allows for periods of high and low activity that align with personal energy levels and life’s curveballs. This style of running my biz and marketing has allowed me to maintain a thriving business while prioritizing travel, relationships, and personal growth. If you're an entrepreneur or content creator seeking a more flexible and intuitive way to approach your marketing efforts, this episode is for you!
Snippets:
• ‘I believe I've personally confused consistency with frequency. I think I've also confused it with being prolific.’
• ‘I consider what I do very wavy. So here's what I mean. Wavy marketing is essentially seasonal marketing. I like to work in seasonal cycles versus always on.’
• ‘Why am I going to force myself to do these things that I don't like, just to say that I'm quote unquote marketing? I don't think that's good marketing if you don't like doing it. If your energy is being depleted and you hate doing it, and you're like, this f***ing sucks, I think people feel that energy.’
• ‘Make a quadrant on a piece of paper and on the top left, write what I love and what I'm good at. On the right, write what I love and I'm bad at. On the bottom left, write what I hate and I'm good at. And what I hate and I'm bad at. Now, once you list all those things out, decipher where to put your energy, and the hate sections, the bottom, that should either be automated, delegated, or deleted.’

247: Ever thought about pitching your “this is going to shatter the glass ceiling” idea to a big tech company, inviting that cutie on Bumble out for mini golf, or asking for a raise at the job you’ve been at for 7+ years and DEFINITELY deserve one… but the idea of rejection made you wince? Same.
But I’m alive. Rejection didn’t kill me. So I’m here to tell the tale of how I cope with rejection professionally and walk you through several celeb stories - and how we wouldn’t be able to experience their genre-changing art or mind-bending music or industry-leading apps if they let rejection deter them.
You’ll hear stories about Britney Spears, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Queen, the founder of Calendly, Tope Awotona, and myself, and how rejection only became fuel to lead us to success.
I also challenge you to reflect on your own experiences with rejection and how they've shaped your path. Remember, sometimes rejection is just redirection to something even better. Corny but true!
If you found value in this episode, please share it with a friend or leave a comment on Spotify. I'd love to hear your stories of rejection and what came after—you can DM me on Instagram @chelseariffe or email me at [email protected].

246: It’s Shoot Your Shot September - didn’t you hear?!
I’m taking you down memory lane to share how shooting MY shot has opened up unthinkable opportunities for myself - from being able to talk to high profile influencers, authors and creators, to jet-setting all over the world and bringing me countless business opportunities.
I start out sharing how emailing Lauryn Bosstick (aka The Skinny Confidential) invoked a confidence in me that made me unstoppable. This led to a roster of marquee names in the space (Gabby Bernstein, Case Kenny, Sivan Ayla, Kenzie Burke, Jared Freid, + more), which only added to my credibility and built momentum for my show.
Eventually, my podcast became the biggest driver of my business, and without shooting my shot, I’m not sure I would even be sitting here recording this episode today!
By the end of this episode, I hope you shoot your shot in at least ONE area of your life - sending a direct message on Hinge, pitching that vision board guest for your podcast, or finally reaching out to that eco-friendly brand to sponsor your content.
Ready to learn how to shoot your shot on podcasts? Pitch Perfect Bootcamp starts mid-October and I’ll teach you everything you need to know about booking yourself with Charli XCX confidence on other shows, platforms, and biz opportunities. You joining?! It’ll be a grand ole time.

245: In this heartfelt episode, Chelsea dives deep into the historical and cultural concept of the witch wound. She talks about generational trauma faced by women due to historical persecution, such as witch hunts, and how the echoes of the past affect modern-day self-expression.
She shares a personal story of a past life regression session that fuels her podcast today, and how creating content, pitching yourself, and being visible online allows you to heal your own inner witch wound.
How are you going to use your voice, talents, and knowledge to heal?
