On today’s show, Michael welcomes the Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, founder and spiritual director of the Sunray Meditation Society and the Sunray Peace Village Land Trust in Lincoln, Vermont. Sunray preserves and shares the peacemaking teachings of the Cherokee spiritual traditions and Tibetan Buddhism, and in 1992, was granted NGO status by the United Nations as a gateway for Indigenous voices to be included in planetary conversations. 

For four decades, Venerable Dhyani has designed and taught programs for training peacemakers, mediators, and CEOs, inspired by Ani Yun Wiwa and Buddhist wisdom. She is also the CEO of Beautyway Productions and the author of many curriculums and books including, “Voices of Our Ancestors,” “Learning Cherokee Ways: The Ywahoo Path,” and “108 Quotations: A Treasury of Mystical Wisdom.” 

During their powerful conversation, Michael and Dhyani talk about:

-The mystical way she and Michael met back in the 70s

-Dhyani’s spiritual gifts, which started during her childhood and were further developed under her Cherokee grandparents’ tutelage 

-The ancestral lineage she holds which believes that we came to Earth to relight the fire of having clear minds and that it’s our spiritual duty to be happy because what we think and speak reverberates throughout the world   -The meaning behind our connection to nature, including the water and trees

-Sunray Village’s transformational programs, ceremonies, and more!
