Joy started her career with Citigroup Capital Market in New York, she then joined the venture capital industry with a focus on early stage investing after graduating from London Business School with an MBA. In 2020, Joy left VC to work on her own entrepreneurial projects. Joy first invested in crypto in 2017. Having witnessed the past boom-bust cycles, she remains a believer of decentralized technology. Joy joined CC Token at the very beginning of the journey as COO. She is also an advisor of several technology startups.
