You don’t need another diet. You need a different life.
In this episode, I’m sharing some tough love about the cycle so many women stay stuck in—chasing quick fixes, starting over every Monday, and trying to “fix” their body instead of looking at what’s really going on underneath.
Because here’s the truth: quick fixes don’t change your life.
They just give you a smaller body in the same life that’s making you unhappy.
I’m also sharing a glimpse into my recent travels and the life I’ve created—one that didn’t come from a crash diet, but from making a decision a long time ago to stop putting my life on hold.
If you’ve been waiting to lose weight before you start living, this episode is your wake-up call.
You don’t need a smaller body. You need a bigger life.
This is a short episode and a little bit of tough love.
I’m recording this a few hours before I get on a plane, and I kept thinking about how many women are waiting to live their lives. Waiting to lose weight. Waiting to feel confident. Waiting for the right time, the right body, the right circumstances.
So this episode is your reminder: your life is happening right now.
Book the trip. Wear the shorts. Go to the pool. Take the picture. Start the thing. Stop waiting for some future version of you to start living.
This isn’t a dress rehearsal. This is your life.
If the words “formal dress shopping” make your stomach drop, you’re not alone.
In this episode, I’m talking about the very real emotional scars that can come from being the “fat girl” when it comes to clothes, especially formalwear. From prom dresses to bridesmaid fittings to even shopping for my own wedding gown, I share the comments, judgments, and experiences that still echo in my mind every time I walk into a dressing room.
And here’s the thing: my body was different sizes in each of those moments. But the shame and anxiety followed me anyway.
We’ll talk about why those experiences stick with us, how the dressing room becomes a place of judgment instead of celebration, and the truth many of us need to hear: our bodies were never the problem.
If shopping for clothes still brings up old feelings, this episode is for you!
The other night, I was at the ER with Javi until 4 am. By the time I got home, the temptation to cancel everything and stay in bed was very real.
But with just a few hours of sleep, I still got up, got ready, did my makeup, and showed up for the day.
In this episode, I’m talking about the idea of “never looking like what you’re going through.” Not in a performative or toxic way, but in the sense of refusing to abandon yourself during hard moments. Sometimes the smallest acts of care, from washing your face, getting dressed, and keeping a routine, are what carry us through the chaos.
I’ve been sick all week, and it completely disrupted my plans, my workouts, and the momentum I thought I was building.
In this episode, I’m talking about what it feels like when your body forces you to rest — and why we often only “allow” ourselves to slow down when we’re physically unwell. If you’re feeling behind, off track, or like you have to start over, this is your reminder: you’re not starting over. You’re continuing.
Lately, the world is heavy. Overwhelming. At times, even unsafe. And I’ll be honest, it’s been hard to show up and talk about things like body image, weight, or self-care when everything around us feels so serious.
But then I watched the Super Bowl halftime show and Bad Bunny showing up boldly, joyfully, unapologetically, and it brought me back to a quote that stopped me in my tracks: joy is part of the resistance.
In this episode, I’m sharing a very real moment of burnout. One where I was so overwhelmed I would’ve rather gone to the emergency room than keep dealing with life, even though nothing was physically wrong. We talk about the kind of society we’re living in, where people secretly wish for a stomach virus just to get a break, and what it means when rest only feels allowed through sickness.
I share why a glow up has shifted from nice-to-have to need-to-have — focusing first on the inside, not the outside — and how choosing movement, care, joy, and self-respect isn’t avoidance, it’s survival.
If you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and weighed down by the world around you, this episode is for you.
I recently read something that stopped me in my tracks: being fat robbed me of my femininity.
And I haven’t been able to shake it.
In this episode, I pose a question that came out of a Reddit thread but really speaks to a shared experience so many of us quietly lived: growing up, did femininity ever feel like it wasn’t meant for you?
I’m sharing my own experiences of being invisible next to friends, being talked about like I wasn’t even a person, not being able to shop where other girls shopped, missing out on certain “girlhood” moments, and learning very early on which bodies were allowed to be soft, desired, and feminine and which weren’t.
We’ll talk about how those moments shape us long after childhood, how confidence can coexist with old wounds, and what it actually looks like to take your femininity back without performing it or earning permission.
If you’ve ever felt like girlhood passed you by, or like femininity came with conditions you didn’t meet, this episode is for you. You’re not alone—and you didn’t imagine it.
After a full Christmas break, a busy work season, and a lot of life happening behind the scenes, this episode is a gentle check-in. No big announcements. No dramatic comeback. Just me catching you up on the holidays, the start of a new year, and where my head and heart actually are right now.
I’m sharing a few personal updates, my honest feelings about New Year pressure, and what a “glow up” looks like for me in this season (hint: it has nothing to do with becoming a brand-new person overnight).
If you’re feeling a little quiet, a little tired, or like you’re easing back into life instead of charging into it, this episode is for you. Consider this a soft reset… and an open seat on the couch.
The cozy, magical season is here! Leggings, sweaters, cookies, hibernation mode. But this can also become the season where we disconnect from our bodies without even realizing it.
In this episode, I’m sharing a truth we don’t talk about enough:
✨ The longer you hide in leggings and oversized sweatshirts, the longer you stay in denial about where you really are physically and emotionally.
✨ Getting dressed, putting on makeup, and wearing a real outfit isn’t about vanity… it’s about awareness, identity, and showing up for yourself.
✨ And what I don’t want is for you to “wake up” in spring only to realize nothing fits and you don’t recognize yourself.
Let’s talk about how you can stay connected, confident, and present with yourself even during cozy season so you don’t lose yourself in the process.
Before we all slip into our cozy clothes and head toward the candied yams, I wanted to drop in with a quick Thanksgiving episode and a little love note from my heart to yours.
Today, I’m sharing what I’m truly grateful for this season: you. Thank you for listening, for hanging with me through the messy seasons, the comebacks, the pauses, the growth, and all the moments in between. This community means more to me than I can ever put into words.
I’m also talking about the real-life chaos of the holidays, the emotional weight many of us carry into this week, and some gentle reminders about food, body image, and giving yourself permission to just be you. You don’t need to earn your Thanksgiving meal. You don’t need to restrict. You don’t need to go overboard. You’re allowed to enjoy your plate, be present with your people, and let go of the guilt that diet culture tries to hand you.
Take what you need, leave what you don’t, and know that you’re not alone.
Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving filled with yummy food, core memories, and zero shame. I’m so grateful for you.
💗,
Aimee
