Paul Campbell graduated with his Master’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in 2012. Paul has co-authored studies outlining the effectiveness of chronic disease prevention through lifestyle modification and believes that evidence-based interventions are the key to sustainable behavior change. Paul has been a competitive, drug free bodybuilder for the past 15 years, earning his professional status in 2018. Paul is also an avid hunter, mountain biker, alpine skier and backpacker who understands the importance of resistance training and proper nutrition. Using evidence-based methods, he has worked with competitive bodybuilders, a wide range of strength and endurance athletes, as well as people looking to maintain fat loss and improve their quality of life.

In this episode of Far From Perfect I wanted Paul to give us insight into what it really takes to step on stage as a body building competitor. Whether that's as a female doing bikini or figure to a man doing classic physique and men's physique. We as lay people see these bodies on social media all the time and many think those bodies are #goals. Paul explains what it actually takes and if the sport is a good fit for you. There are definitely some trade-offs.

In addition to our bodybuilding chat, we talk a lot about purpose and values and living in alignment with who you truly want to be. Paul also had a few questions for me regarding the biggest obstacles in working with women and what it's like having such a large influence in my household.
