She has written for the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Times Literary Supplement (London), Poetry Review, and the London Review of Books. Her new book, Hatching, was recently released and is a provocative examination of reproductive technologies that questions our understanding of fertility, motherhood, and the female body. 

In this conversation, we discuss Jenni’s fertility journey, infertility, IVF, and have a detailed conversation about what it means to desire a child and how much freedom reproductive technologies actually offer.
