Journey Church

Pastor Jamie George - When we chose Christ we chose to feel the pain that is associated with the death of the ego. We let go of our presumed rights. We surrender our will. His divine light illuminates our true identity and His divine presence eviscerates the old self that stands in the way. Our eyes sting as we awake and grow accustomed to the beauty and the longing for the fullness of life is seared on our hearts.

Pastor Jamie George - The bibles teaching about the divine nature of Christ and His kingdom was not meant to be framed in a linear past or future but an eternal, present reality. May we awaken our imaginations again and enter the mystery of God's presence.

Pastor Jamie George - Our quest for resolve and removal of tension is usually our ego self by-passing the work of listening to the Spirit so that it can soothe its anxiety through false gods. We have been created for something more. The Spirit is guiding us into union with Christ. Harmonious living. Tuned perfectly to His Kingdom and its rhythms.

Pastor Jamie George -

Kevin Dixon - Being refined in community is the process of allowing your inner thoughts and beliefs to be tested on others. We all need a community where we can say what we really believe about God and ourselves. A safe place where others help you sort it out.

Pastor Jamie George - Life is all about nourishment and perception. Where are we finding sustenance and how are we creating our own reality?

Pastor Jamie George - We embrace what is wonderfully different and sometimes incredibly annoying about each one of us. We are not looking for conformity. The God-design upon each person is varied and vast and this we celebrate.

Pastor Jamie George - In aligning to our true identity in Christ we surrender our primary identification with the earthen vessel we’ve always thought of as "I am." We let go of our false identity and surrender to union with the One true"I am."

Pastor Jamie George - We cannot let words and doctrines substitute our awe of the sacred. Abandon fear and become captivated by the love of God.

Pastor Jamie George - How much of your life is spent striving; crafting your ego so that people will perceive you the right way, or more than that, that everyone would love you? Are you tired yet of your quest for approval? What would it be like to let yourself be intimately loved by God?
