Pastor Jamie George - Worship could be defined as a sort of calibration, an alignment with the Kingdom of God. It is an abiding in Jesus. Its getting caught in the crossfire of Trinitarian love. In the posture of worship we display a willingness to be known and loved.

Pastor Jamie George -

Pastor Jamie George - Our gravestone is either a verification of death or a celebration of life. Concluding the story of A Christmas Carol, we observe that when Ebenezer Scrooge awakens he sees with new eyes. And for the first time, he begins to live out the meaning of his name.

Pastor Jamie George - When we become tuned to the present, we see with different eyes. We become aware quickly that we are not the center of our own existence. We more clearly recognize blessing and need. We take what we have been given and realize that we have been tasked with the role of restorer. We are now the bearers of redemption. And so we go to those in need.

Pastor Jamie George - Jesus lived in the tension of joy and sorrow. Favor and misunderstanding. He came to earth, not just to die, but to live. He had a story. So do you. Your past matters. It can be haunted and tragic or it can shine the light of redemption to the world.

Pastor Jamie George - Seeing through the lens of Jacob Marley from Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and Jesus story of the rich man in hell, Pastor Jamie discusses the pursuit of material acquisition. Marley yearns to bring relief to his hellish life, to lift his burdens, and somehow atone for his greed and selfishness. But he cannot. He missed his opportunity to receive the generous love he now longs to give.

Kevin Dixon - We all have different images of who The Devil looks like, but what do we really know about this "wolf in sheep's clothing?"
