Journey Church

The nature of requesting this causes us to join God and align ourselves with Him honoring and sanctifying His name. It insures that the cozy feeling of Father sits equally alongside the reverence and awe of God.

Jesus instructs his followers how to pray.  He reminds us that we are never alone when we pray, and that we are not praying to an abstract thought but to loving Father.

What great treasure have you discovered?  What do enthusiastically give your life too?  Is heaven something you are waiting for or something that has already arrived?  The eternal is also the present.

The Kingdom of God is an exciting journey of discovery. In this parable Jesus takes something seemingly insignificant to form the life of something great, but that is not where it ends. A shelter is provided for love’s exchange.

Jesus offers a parable about a successful businessman who makes poor choices managing his wealth. Jesus offers us insightful teaching on the significance of giving and hoarding and the power of generosity.

We have been invited to join God at a party, a celebration of His lavish gift giving.  Sadly, we often make excuses and choose not to come.  The party continues however, and the ones most aware of their need tend to be the ones who truly enjoy the abundance of His grace.

God is described as a compassionate shepherd, incessantly searching for the one who is lost.  We are called to follow this example.  We are encouraged to resist hypocrisy and walk in the awareness of grace.

There are four kinds of soils we discover when we throw seeds.  Only one of these is truly fertile and prepared to embrace the seed.  We are invited to consider where we invest our time, and to consider our true motives.

The child prince became the King.  From that day to this one, he has been ushering in an ever expanding empire of grace.

God gave us a sign, a demonstration of His love.  This came in the form of a gift.  His Son arriving on earth as a baby.  Vulnerable and accessible. God with us.
