We kick off our final month of weekly shows with a shorts film week for the ages. We get weird (and I mean WEIRD) with three very strange short films guaranteed to put you in a bizarre head space.

Up first, NYC art weirdos Tommy Turner and David Wojnarowicz create a surreal, lo-fi black & white drug trip loosely based on the (then very recent) murder case involving the Long Island satanic teenage acid head Ricky Kasso in Where Evil Dwells from 1985.
Next, we visit the weirdest yard sale ever where everything is too expensive and you must do business with a strange man in a gold mask known only as The Pricemaster.
And finally, we're transported to the blandest office in the world, where things are very dry, including the lunch in the 2014 web series Catherine starring Jenny Slate.
All this plus weird weather, Kevin goes to the movies, Portland Paul runs down his hits and misses, Cocaine Bear chat, nudie cuties and so much more!

It's the second week of Sci-Fi-ebruary, our month-long tribute to science fiction films and this week we let those psychos, the Dom DeLuise Patreon donors, have their way with three very different adventures.
Up first, David Cronenberg takes us on a weird journey into a small town where a fringe psychologist is working to get his patients to manifest rage in a physical form, including little rage monsters that terrorize those who invoke their ire in 1979's The Brood picked by Portland Paul.
Next, famous American author Mark Twain and three of his characters; Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher, embark on a trip into space to follow Halley's Comet, all in beautiful Claymation in 1985's The Adventures of Mark Twain picked by Eamon.
And finally, in a post-apocalyptic world where vigilantes ride planes through streams of air, Mark Hamill plays a bounty hunter bringing in a valuable prisoner only to have him stolen by loose cannon Bill Paxton who wants the hefty reward for himself in Slipstream from 1989.

All this plus Sean's adventures in cat love, our AI lawyers, some very heartfelt voicemails, AMC making bad decisions, and so much more!

This week on JFD, the hosts are left to their own devices and pick three random films they've been itchin' to discuss.
Up first, Sean continues his personal theme month of Japan-uary, inspired by his recent travels to Japan and brings us a vintage anime about a boy and his dog getting to the bottom of a local mystery and finding his true origins in Flying Phantom Ship from 1969.
Next, we take a look at The Coen Brothers' humble beginnings with the noir-inspired Blood Simple from 1984 about a murder-for-hire plot involving Dan Hedaya, Frances McDormand, John Getz and M. Emmet Walsh.
And finally, we uncover a "lost" low-budget Ohio horror flick Heartland of Darkness from 1989 about a Satanic cult in a small town and the local reporter determined to get to the bottom of it. The film stars scream queen Linnea Quigley and friend of the show Nick Baldasare!
All this plus all of Parker's heroes are getting cancelled, Kevin's pinball adventures, we find out about even more stop-motion magic from 2022, Jackie Chan-uary, and so much more.
