Baby Elephant Tickles Reporter
News reporters have a very serious job.
They tell people about important events (重大事件,重大新聞) happening around the world.
Many times, the events they are talking about are not happy events.
But one reporter in Kenya couldn't help laughing during his report.
Alvin Kaunda was reporting at a wildlife rescue center (野生動物救援中心) in the city of Nairobi.
The center helps elephants and rhinos.
Alvin was standing in front of several orphaned baby elephants (失去父母的小象).
And he started by talking about how the center helps the elephants.
At first everything was going well.
But as Alvin was talking, one of the young elephants put its trunk (象鼻) on his shoulder.
It's a 4-year-old female elephant, named Kindani.
Alvin stays calm and keeps talking.
But Kindani doesn't stop.
She next uses her trunk to feel Alvin's ear.
Then she moves her trunk to the top of his head, and feels his hair.
Alvin stays very professional (專業), and talks about the importance of protecting the environment.
But then Kindani moves her trunk onto Alvin's face.
She curiously (好奇的) feels his nose and even puts her trunk onto Alvin's mouth.
Finally, Alvin couldn't hold it together anymore and burst into laughter.
Even though Alvin was interrupted (被打斷), his message was very clear:
He said "…it is up to us to be guardians of our own natural world".
Alvin在報導中想要傳達的重要訊息是:【我們必須成為自然世界的守護者。】

Squirrels Go Nuts for the World Cup
Sports fans are going nuts for the World Cup (世界盃足球賽).
And so are squirrels!
A man in the U.K. has made an obstacle course in his backyard.
And the course is World-Cup-themed!
一位英國足球迷在他的後院中蓋了一個給松鼠用的世界盃障礙賽跑道。
Steve Barley says first, the squirrels have to climb through a tunnel.
Then they have to get through many obstacles (障礙物), like a giant red card.
At the end of the course, the squirrels have to jump over a toy goalkeeper (守門員)…
And through a goal post (球門)…
To get to a big tube that's filled with delicious nuts!
Steve has posted videos of squirrels going through the course online.
The videos have been watched more than four million times.
