Kind Gibbon Causes Headache for Zookeepers

We all know that being kind (有愛心) is a good thing, right?

But for a white-handed gibbon at the Taipei Zoo…

His kindness is giving zookeepers a headache!

The Taipei Zoo says the gibbon, named Peter Pan, is a bit too helpful.

Zookeepers want to get Peter Pan and his family into their inside enclosure (室內欄舍).

Their outside enclosure was dirty, and needed to be cleaned.

So keepers put some food in the inside enclosure.

They hoped the gibbons would go inside to get the food, and they could close the door to keep them inside.

This way, keepers could clean the outside safely.

But Peter Pan's brothers did not want to go inside.

They ignored (不理) the food.

And Peter Pan, being very helpful and kind, started going inside to get the food.

He would pick up all the delicious fruits and vegetables…

And bring them outside for his brothers.

Then they would all share and eat the food together.

Zookeepers say it is very nice that the white-handed gibbon family is so loving and close.

But now they don't know how they will clean the gibbons' outside enclosure!

The keepers say they were supposed to clean the enclosure in May.

But now with Peter Pan bringing all the food outside, the keepers have had to wait for months.

原訂今年5月初就要展開的清淤工作，卻因部分的長臂猿家庭拒絕配合，這項工程一直都還無法動工

The keepers are asking the public to help think of ideas to get the gibbons inside.

Try a Taste of a Camel-ccino

Lots of people drink coffee.

Many adults like to have a cup of coffee in the morning to start their day.

For some types of coffee, people add cow's milk.

But one cafe in Kenya is making their coffee with something very different…

Camel milk!

CJ's Restaurant is in downtown Nairobi.

The manager, Omar Shariff says more and more people are ordering their special lattes (拿鐵) and cappuccinos (卡布奇諾).

At CJ's, those drinks are "camelattes" and "camel-ccinos".

That's like a latte or cappuccino, but with camel milk added instead of cow's milk.

這個餐廳推出新飲料，駱布奇諾和駱拿鐵，就是普通的卡布奇諾和拿鐵，但加的是駱駝奶。

Why would people want to use camel milk for their coffee?

Kenya has lots of camels, 4 million actually.

Some people there drink camel milk already, but there aren't lots of stores that sell it.

Camels can go a long time without drinking water.

They live more easily than sheep and cows in Africa.

駱駝可以長時間不喝水、適應力又比較強，在乾旱中是個比較穩定的乳品來源。

And some think camel milk is healthier than other types of milk.

The United Nations says camel milk has more vitamin C than cow's milk.

Some people call camel's milk "white gold".

Back at CJ's Restaurant, Omar says he plans to put other camel foods on the menu.

Omar says he wants to try out a camel burger next.

迪士尼，黑寡婦主角和解

Disney, Johansson Settle Dispute

An actress has resolved a lawsuit with a huge media company.

Scarlett Johansson had sued (告) Disney over the release of her movie, Black Widow.

She says her contract (合約) said the movie could only come out in theaters.

However, Disney also streamed it on its Disney Plus platform.

史嘉蕾·喬韓森今年夏天告迪士尼毀約。

Scarlett sued because this affected how much she would be paid.

However, the two sides have agreed to settle out of court.

The terms of the settlement deal have not been made public (公布).

Scarlett says she looks forward to working with Disney again in the future.

史嘉蕾和迪士尼現在和解了，以後應該還會合作。
