韓國美食在台灣越來越受歡迎

Taiwan Loving Korean Food

Taiwan is home to lots of delicious (美味的) food.

People who visit Taiwan should try pearl milk tea, stinky tofu, beef noodles, pineapple cake, mango shaved ice, and so much more!

But people in Taiwan also like foods from other countries.

And some people also say more and more Taiwanese love Korean food.

One Taiwan company took a survey (調查) of restaurants here.

They found that last year, the number of people who bought food from Korean-style restaurants went up 24%.

Have you ever tried Korean food? Some of these dishes can be very spicy (辣).

If a food is spicy, it can make your mouth, tongue and throat feel like it's on fire!

Sometimes in English, we will also use the word "hot".

One famous spicy Korean food is kimchi. It's also sour, and made from cabbage and other vegetables.

Or try bibimbap, which is rice with vegetables, beef, and egg on top.

Or have some tteokbokki. It's rice cakes with a sweet and spicy chili sauce.

你有試過韓國料理嗎? 韓式泡菜、韓式拌飯、辣炒年糕都是常見的必吃美食。

Even though we can't go to South Korea, we can still taste some famous Korean dishes here in Taiwan.

Just make sure to do it in a safe way, and follow all COVID-19 safety rules.

Falling Cat Saved by U.S. Flag

We've heard about cats falling from high places.

They fall from a high window.

And many times, they land on their feet, and are just fine.

But one cat in the US did it a different way.

Thousands of people were watching a football game at a stadium (體育場) in Miami.

About 10 minutes after the game started, fans started screaming (尖叫) and yelling.

When someone screams, they make a high, loud sound.

Most of the time, someone who screams is scared or angry.

Or someone who screams at a football game may be really excited.

But the people screaming at the Miami stadium weren't watching the game.

A black and white cat was about to fall from a high upper deck (上層看台).

It's back legs were hanging in the air.

The deck was about 10 meters high. That's like falling from the 3rd floor of a building!

黑白貓用爪子緊緊鉤住電線，掛在三層樓高處掙扎。

The cat held on to a wire with its two front paws…

It was struggling.

Then it held on with only one paw…

Then the cat fell!

Everyone screamed.

Luckily for the cat, some people on the 1st floor below had an American flag (美國國旗).

They say they bring the flag to every football game they watch.

When they saw the cat hanging above them, they quickly opened the flag, and got ready to use it to catch the cat.

The lucky cat fell onto the flag.

And some students helped pick up the cat, and held it up, to show everyone it was okay.

Everyone cheered!

黑金絲雀將有個人電影

Black Canary Getting Solo Movie

Another DC superhero is getting their own film.

The Black Canary film is in production for the HBO Max streaming platform.

Black Canary first appeared in 2020's Birds of Prey movie.

The character was played by actress Jurnee Smollett, and she will reprise (重演) the role in the standalone movie.

HBO Max 串流平台準備拍黑金絲雀個人電影。

The movie probably will not be ready for quite a while.

Jurnee has several other projects (案子、計畫) to do first, as does the screenwriter.

HBO Max already has other DC movies it is working on.

These include films for Supergirl and Blue Beetle.

還不知道新電影什麼時候上映，主演和編劇目前有很多別的計畫。
