Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang

Matt and Bowen raise a glass to Beyoncé's ALBUM OF THE YEAR win for Cowboy Carter as they talk Grammys! That means Doechi's all-timer performance, Chappell Roan aka the reigning BEST NEW ARTIST speaking to the people, the absolute END of the Kendrick-Drake beef and whether or not Billie Eilish was "snubbed". Also, Lady Gaga using her VOICE in every meaningful way possible, how LA Fire Department Capt. Sheila Kelliher Berkoh won the night, and how we may be seeing the end of all current pop girlie conflicts. All this, Charli XCX terrorizing the Grammy stage, Gaga's epic new ABRACADABRA!, major MAYHEM anticipation, and an exploration of how it feels to take orders from Gaga again. That's not even all! Matt and Bow hit the strip so there's a Las Vegas recap! Shania and Mariah in one weekend! Lots to say! And finally, Megan 2.0 as Cultural Femininomenon, the trials and tribulations of Karla Sofia Gascón and Bowen gives some artistic direction for Vegas slot machines. Don't touch birds! Clean your nails! Dance or Die!

We're back! And first and foremost, Matt, Bow and everyone at Las Cultch is extending all the love and strength in the world to those affected by the fires in Los Angeles. We implore everyone to do what they can to help those suffering. As far as culture goes, Matt and Bowen have finally taken The Substance and are quite simply throwing neck for the film. They discuss the Oscar-worthy contributions of Demi (Duh-MEE) Moore, Margaret Qualley (KWA-LEE) and Coralie Fargeat (Far-JEE-AHT) in what Las Cultch is calling the best film of 2024 (biases aside). Also, Bowen Yang as Mubi gay, the SAG noms (go Bowen and Wicked!), this very competitive Best Actress year, Pamela Anderson's renaissance and The Last Showgirl, Sean Baker's Anora and the TALENT that is Mikey Madison, and Sebastian Stan finally getting his flowers. All this, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as Nobel Prize frontrunner and Meredith Marks as Mt. Rushmore of Housewives contender, discourse on The Traitors season 3, the Jerry Springer doc on Netflix, South Park as formative culture, "Barney haters" and how Sesame Street is full of broken people. And that's not even all, as our hosts get into, Bowen's life altering trip to Japan, Matt's bruised tailbone and will to fuck, and high praise for Nikki Glaser at the Golden Globes. There is a DEFINISH chance you will love this episode. Stay safe. Stay sane. And CON-TROL YOUR-SELF!!!!!!

In one of the scariest episodes yet, Matt & Bowen plunge into THE BOOK OF QUESTIONS. Are you ready for this jelly (vulnerability)? Get into these topics: Would you be comfortable in the role of grim reaper? Will *you* die with regrets? Would you eat a bowl of crickets for 40 thousand dollars? Much to think about. And RPKF's, after this episode? We're not really strangers...
