Seasonal Depression (0:36:15)
As the days grow shorter and the weather gets greyer, you might also find yourself getting a little gloomier. If change in seasons is leaving you feeling sluggish and lethargic, you might be experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder, or (as it’s appropriately nicknamed) S.A.D—and you’re not alone. SAD affects about 10 million Americans and another 10-20% are estimated to experience it mildly. And since most of those 10 million Americans don’t happen to live in states that don’t experience winter (I’m looking at you Southern California and Florida), how can they mitigate it? Here to talk with us about SAD and what we can do to reduce its effects is licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University, Dr. Claire Nicogossian.

Here to share her advice with us is beauty and style expert Erin Busbee.
Bodyguards on Demand (1:26:31)
Of the many concerns we’ve faced this year, our physical safety and wellbeing have been at the forefront. Not only are we worried about not getting sick, but many have felt a heightened sense of fear as they work from home alone, engage with strangers delivering packages to their doorstep, walk down empty streets, or even stay inside with family members who show tendencies towards domestic violence. Not all situations merit a 911 call, so how can we have peace of mind concerning our safety? Well today, we are speaking with Doron Kempel, the founder and CEO of Bond—a new mobile service that provides personal security for everyone in any situation through a single app. And he is here to tell us all about it.
