Narcissist have no respect for the needs, suffering or wishes of others. They are disinterested in other people and fascinate by every thing "me." 

Children either learn early or don't learn to develop personal psychological boundaries from their parents. Each person is entitled to be treated with respect for his feelings, thoughts, creativity, privacy.  The narcissist doesn't grow up with a sense of psychological boundaries, especially the golden child who is hand picked by the parent as perfect. Rules do not apply to him or her. He has full reign of the house, a child tyrant who causes horrible psychological and emotional pain to other family member. 

Married to a narcissist, your boundaries are not respected and you are treated with cruel ruthlessness. 

You make the decision to separate and even to divorce the narcissistic spouse. Learn to ground yourself psychologically through your form of meditation or prayer. Practice self care daily. you deserve the full use of your authentic self and all of your creative gifts.
