But what about those stressors that fly in under the radar? These are things that we often don't even realising are happening, such as switching between tasks often - this puts stress on our brain to work harder.
The thing is, stress builds up over time. It can quite quickly get to a point where it begins to feel overwhelming. If we haven't got the right coping mechanisms in place, often times we turn to food as a way to deal with this stress, or we can sometimes turn to other unhelpful habits.
The key to being able to get a handle on things such as emotional eating, overeating, and overwhelm is to learn to manage your stress levels...namely being aware of these INVISIBLE stressors and managing them as much as possible.
