In this episode, I am sharing 10 reasons that I believe we should practice being alone. These 10 things are lessons or skills that I have learned when I make time to be alone in my life. If you are like "I am never alone Annie, that seems scary and weird", then this episode is for you my friend! Because being alone is one of the best gifts we can give to ourselves, it is how we heal and how we grow. Our society often conditions us to be with people to always be connected through social media, emails, texts, or calls, but if you do not make time to be by yourself you will never know where you begin and the people around you begin.
I hope you keep these 10 things in mind as we move into the holidays and the COVID version of the holidays. Make sure you are taking care of yourself, for yourself. You deserve to live an incredible life and practicing being alone is one of the ways you will get there!
