Chapter 4

A Very Big Problem

Rob,Teddy and Jilly stood on the edge of the lawn.

It wasvery dark and quiet.

In thedistance, an owl hooted.

It washunting.

“So thisis the Great Outdoors," said Rob. 'I’ve never seen it before."

'I’veonly seen it in daylight," said Jilly.

Her eyessparkled like her dress.

"Idon't get out much," said Teddy

'Tm anindoor type. In fact, I'm a bit scared."

"Noproblem," said Rob. "Bears live in woods, you know. You'll loveit."

It wastrue, thought Teddy.

He wasa bear.

Perhapshe'd get used to it.

Rob ledthe way across the grass.

Jillygave a little cry. "Our special bush!"

Jillyshowed them a gap under the bush.

Whenthey crawled in, there was a little den.

Therewas a faded plastic tea set there.

"Weused to have picnics here," sighed Jilly.

"Thatwas before Sarah and Ben went to school. I used to sit here on a rug. The toysoldiers were allowed to climb the branch” She looked sad. "I neverdid."

“Climbup now,” said Rob.

"Noproblem."

Jillylooked at him.

"Shouldyou really?" asked Teddy.

“Yes, Ishould,” said Jilly.

Shetook off her tiara and began to climb.

Theyheard her grunting.

Theleaves rustled.

"Nearlythere," she shouted.

Then,she screamed.

Branchescrashed and shook.

Therewas a terrible screeching noise.

Rob andTeddy looked up.

Rob'slight caught the sparkle of Jilly's dress.

Besideher, hunched on the branch, was a big, dark shape..

①：闭眼听完，理解故事，遇生词先甭管，继续往后听；

②：快速阅读，验证你听到和看到的剧情是否不搭嘎；

③：对照文字再次听故事，这次要注意细节，生词。帅的人都能通过情节和配图猜出生词，先大胆猜，再去问度娘确认。

④：反复听音频听到吐，并尝试跟读。

⑤：脱离音频，自行朗读。想装逼就背诵全文。
