Let me tell you about my dad. He’s lived a life packed with wild adventures and some pretty amazing entrepreneurial experiments.

He once turned a Hot Wheels hobby into a family trip to Hawaii. Early morning treasure hunts for rare collectible cars turned into eBay gold. Who knew toy cars could fund a family getaway?

Our family adventures were just as memorable. Camping and hiking in Utah’s wilderness? Check. Navigating off-trail with early GPS? Yep. Surviving surprise rainstorms? Always. He was always ready for adventure, whether pitching a tent or cracking a joke about how wet we’d all get.

Now, in retirement, he’s a park ranger; he spilled so many stories, from enforcing no-drone rules to a hilarious DUI arrest in the wild. Add packing trips through Nevada’s Ruby Mountains, and you’ve got a guy who’s always on the move.

But it’s not all outdoor adventures.

My dad’s dabbled in so many markets, from selling Spongebob jewelry charms (to me) to antique collectibles on eBay. He’s thinking about starting a YouTube channel and even volunteering at Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park.

We also talked about TikTok trends, social media income streams, and why having multiple revenue sources is a must. His curiosity and endless stories left me encouraged to keep experimenting and laughing.
