We talk with Adam Liberman who spent seven years as the director of public and media relations with the Rubberducks. Before that he spent time working in the majors for the Atlanta Braves. We talk about that Braves time, his time in AA, and just some general thoughts about players who are almost all now major league players. It is a unique talk involving a very intelligent guy who has spent the better part of two decades working in baseball.

We do a quick preview of some players who could be let go by the Indians and other teams on Wednesday which is the last chance for teams to cut players rather than got to arbitration. After this we discuss searching the globe to find talent, that the Indians could potentially afford.

Jordan Humpreys is an ideal Indians type of pitcher, but one who has thrown just 169 innings in the minors over the last five years. He could be a sleeper for the Indians or a bust. We dig into why the Indians added him, why you should pay attention to him. then we talk about Cimber and hand both let go this offseason both before they were expected to leave when the Indians first acquired them. We dig into why the trade didn't work out as expected, and why in spite of that it is still a very easy win by the Indians in terms of current value, even if it is fair to wonder if they could have gotten better value in the long run for one of the top prospects in baseball.

The Indians and Mets just keep having more and more rumors tied to them this time it is Mike Chernoff current general manger who might end up the Mets President of baseball operations. We discuss why it could happen and why it might not. We talk about Cano and why his suspension could help a Lindor trade. We then dive into what a Blue Jays Lindor trade could look like even if I think it is unlikely. We quickly talk Twins, White Sox, and Royals. Two of these teams would not be great fits even if they were in division while one would be a very good fit if they were not competition. We also give a bit of a tease for Tigers talk that is upcoming.

We talk about some recent articles on the Lindor trade, we discuss some twitter questions and interactions as well. We dive into the shortstop position and why the national focus that the Indians must add a shortstop is so very silly when it comes to any possible Lindor deal. I try and be nice but mostly fail when it comes to the most recent articles. I also discuss some history which shows how much the game has change in 14 years, and why Lindor toe Blue Jays is very, very unlikely.

Mike Clevinger is about to have his second Tommy John surgery, and while it is awful there was a collective exhale from Indians fans who realized the team was able to get value for Clevinger before he lost an entire season to injury. We revisit the trade the Indians made, talk about the first free agent signing, and give some time to appreciate the greatness if peak Grady Sizemore.
