Indians beat up on the White Sox, thanks to poor pitching by the Sox and the return of Jose Rameriz. It is just a bit better having him at third than Ryan Flaherty. The problem is the Rays won their four extra-innings game in the last seven days. The Nationals did sweep the Phillies in a doubleheader today, so they lock up a Wild Card birth and lessen the chances the Indians will have to face Max Scherzer this weekend.

The Rays win and face a very easy stretch for them and the 20 pitchers they currently have on the roster. The Nationals also win which is good for the Indians. The Rays I expect to go 4-1 down the stretch which would mean the Indians need to to go 5-1 to keep even footing with the Rays. This week every game is must-win, this is a playoff week for the Indians. The second half of the show is three post-game interviews I did Rouglas Odor the manager of the Rubber Ducks from earlier this year.

The Indians go five out of six as I predicted and sai was necessary this week. They need to keep the breakneck pace up as they stayed tied with the Rays for the second Wild Card spot. We discuss why it is important the Nationals have nothing to play for, and why it is the Indians are still behind the eight ball heading into these last few games.

Indians took care of business and swept the woeful Tigers. Now Philly comes to town for the last home series of the year, and the pitching matchups set up well for the Indians. They need to take two out of three this weekend before the final week of the season begins Monday. We also look around baseball at the scores, and stories of the day.

Indians win another one this time in extra innings, the only problem is the A's and the Rays also won by one run in extra innings. The Indians were a Dodgers blow save away from taking over the second spot in the wild card race. Indians though control their own destiny, they must win tomorrow against the declawed Tigers but if they go 10-0 over the last ten they are in. It is going down to the wire so tune in every day.

The Indians beat the Tigers, we take a tour of the league checking in on the teams in the playoff hunt before taking our time to talk about Jason Kipnis. His injury likely ends his career in Cleveland after over nine seasons and 1100 games played. He has had his up and downs but brought stability to a position the Indians have struggled to fill over the years.

The Indians might not have played but several important AL and NL teams relative to the Indians did play. We look at those games. We look at why the Twins might regress in a year. We praise Yandy Diaz and Jordan Luplow. We end up the performance of Puig and why the Indians need to win five of their next six games to have a chance at unseating the Rays for the second Wild Card slot.

Any hope of the AL Central title went away this weekend after losing two of three to the Twins. While the focus was on the Twins the A's ran away with the Wild Card lead, meaning the Indians are really in a one team chase with the Rays to try and make the playoffs. The Indians must win five of six this week to have any hope of gaining ground on the Rays.

The Indians might have the day off, but we do not. We look at scoreboards and talk about a rough two nights for the Rays. We look at the Clippers and their sweep of the Governors Cup. We discuss the promotion of James Karinchak and how he is likely to be joined by a few friends from Columbus tomorrow. We talk about the Brand Hand injury and then go into the Indians historical bullpen development. I will warn it is rather gruesome and not appropriate for any ages.

We drop in on the Indians game in route to their sweep of the Angels. We scoreboard watch even though no one did the Indians any favors. Then we do a short preview of the Twins series which is upcoming. Before the second half which is focused on the Columbus Clippers who win again and use four arms in the game who should all be with the Indians major league team in the next year and a half.
