Lodestone Training and Consulting

Jared, Martin of Mossy Forge, Tyler and Ben review the Pennsylvania Light Fighter Challenge VI. Jared talks about why he created the Challenge and what his inspiration was. Tyler has participated in past Challenges and has been helping run stages for a couple of years, and Martin and Ben have been helping run the Challenge since its inception, but both took this year off to participate for themselves.

They talk about how the ruck and the stages went, the things they had to push through and the fun that they had doing it.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard, and to all the companies that donated prizes for the winners!

Jared and Flynn sit down with Jason from Geissele Automatics. They talk about the Geissele Super Duty that the LTAC instructors have been running, as well as what Flynn has been running at his day job.

One of the major reasons we recommend Geissele is because of our experiences using their equipment in law enforcement and in SOF.

Jared recently traveled to Japan to pick up his son. He visited some sites in southern Japan. He reflects on his visit to Kumamoto Castle and its fascinating construction. He then talks about martial tradition and how America is the last standing, Western country to still carry that tradition, and how important it is to raise and teach the next generation.

Lodestone is increasing its offerings in night vision courses and events. To help listeners get a better understanding of night vision in general,  Jared sat down with Malcolm from NVD and just let him talk.

Malcolm explains a lot of the technical information surrounding night vision. He talks through why there is such a large price difference between devices that appear the same. If you have night vision, or are thinking about getting some, this is an episode you'll want to listen to a few times.

They talk about the different forms of radio communications, Meshtastic, and some new tech. We will try to get Dan up again in the summer.
