It's always a good time when Flynn is on the podcast. He and Jared are on the road and talk about the low-light course they are running, as well as a wide variety of other topics. They also discuss some of the second- and third-order effects on policing and training that have come from Ozz's experience in early 2023. This is one that you won't want to miss.

In this episode, Jared and Micah talk about real training vs. fantasy. There are plenty of good quality training companies out there, of which LTAC is one. But for every good one, there are a dozen that aren't. They share some examples of those who are attempting to "teach" concepts and courses above their understanding.

LTAC has one of the most well-rounded course offerings in the country, yet we are very specific in what we teach. Jared uses an example of why we don't teach a specific set of classes, as a way of self-regulating. The point of this podcast isn't that you should or shouldn't teach, it's to check your ego and know your abilities and limitations.

Jared sits down with our long-time friend, Joshua Prince. Josh is the principal of the Civil Rights Defense firm, P.C. and an associate at Prince Law Offices, P.C. in Berks County, PA.

Josh is a native of the Commonwealth, dedicated to making life better for all liberty-loving Pennsylvanians. Josh is running for a seat on the commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. We support and endorse him. This episode of the the Lodestone Podcast needs to be shared to other Pennsylvanians interested in voting for a judge that will work to keep our freedoms intact.

For more information on Josh and his campaign, you can visit his website HERE.

On Feb. 8th, we held the second Night Fighter Challenge. It was already going to be a challenging event, but the non-stop sleet and freezing rain added to the intensity. Jared, Micah, and Abby talk about the event. They are joined by a couple of the participants who share their thoughts on and experiences of the Night Fighter Challenge. Lodestone will continue to provide you the opportunity to learn and train, and then test yourself.

The 9th season of the Lodestone Training and Consulting Podcast gets even more exciting as we have Jason and Jacob from Geissele Automatics join Jared and Kirk around the travel mic after the second day of SHOT Show. They talk about some great new products that Geissele had there, including the King Hunter bolt gun that utilizes Federal's new 7mm Back country cartridge, and the innovative, new Phased Array gas system that's being introduced in the GFW line of the carbines. Prepare for some interesting (and yes, probably nerdy) gun talk with the fine gents from Geissele.

To start off the 9th season of the Lodestone Training and Consulting Podcast, Jared and Kirk talk about the 2025 SHOT Show. We had some important meetings and conversations with a lot of different companies. This was the most productive time we've ever spent there and it will be directly affecting upcoming Lodestone events. On top of all the "business" we conducted, we also had a blast seeing a lot of you out there.

What a strange year 2024 has been. We've had to make more  adjustments to the schedule this year than ever before. Regardless, Lodestone held 95 events over the course of 2024 -- everything from the Six-Day SFAUC Flat Range course to 3-hour LTAC Tuesdays. The 95th event was last Saturday's Freedom Day. It was a good, fun event to finish out the year.
In this episode, Jared and Micah go through the year, talk about some of their favorite moments, discuss some of the classes and events, and talk about what's in store in the next year.
Thank you for all that you do and for being a part of the Lodestone family.
