If there's a turnaround in my story, it begins here. But it's a slow turning. I would be entering the years of "my greatest creativity," just as Bishop Bothwell had predicted, back in Niagara. But it wouldn't be with the church's approval, or with its blessing, as I might have imagined. Fuelled by a new vitality bursting from within, it would be with the blessing of my own soul.
