Love Island: The Debrief

It seems that the memory of Kem being the villa's resident barber is *fading* into the distance....

His Twitter commentary has been on fire all summer and now he's on the podcast - Jason Okundaye is here with Kem and Arielle today for our morning debrief!

Nothing says time to party like a recoupling right?! Last night - the girls got to choose in the recoupling. It resolved some of the drama from Casa Amor, but it has ratted a few more cages... it's never simple is it?

And last night we had the Spotify Summer Party - Mabel was in the villa (but don't worry - Toby didn't try to couple up with her) and she was absolute fire. Our Islanders really deserved a treat didn't they? Liam even provided us with a cheeky encore. Wish he'd had backing dancers too, tbh.

Last night we voted for our favourite couple on the Love Island app - and we're going to be on tenterhooks all day waiting to see the results of the vote on tonight's episode. It's going to be sad saying goodbye to any of our Islanders, but at least it might resolve the weird beds in the living room situation...

Katie Thistleton is here with Kem and Arielle for our morning debrief - and she's got a lot of responsibility on her shoulders because it's mad chaotic in that villa at the moment.

It seems like the main lesson that our Islanders are learning at the moment is 'you don't know what you've got til it's gone'... we're looking at you Toby, Liam, and Tyler...

Some of the moves we saw in last night's episode were pulled straight from the Year 8 playbook: texting each other across the room, passing notes and telling everyone you like a girl (but without telling the girl herself). Tbh, kinda obsessed with it.

Have we ever seen so many Casa Amor Islanders get pied off in one go before? At this rate, they're all going to start cracking on with each other. It's shaping up to be a very interesting recoupling... and the girls are choosing. It's all to play for in tonight's episode.

What a way to kick off the week! Becca Dudley joins Arielle and Kem for our first debrief of Week 6. We also have a mega catch up with all our Islanders from Casa Amor that didn't make it back into the main villa - that's Lillie, Salma, Kaila, Medhy, Jack AND Harry. We feel *very* popular this morning.

Milliam is over! After that very awkward orange juice date with Lillie - Millie said that things were well and truly done with Liam. Liam, on the other hand, is less convinced. Hey, at least we know that the girls probably got their RDA of Vitamin C, eh?

The fall out from the recoupling is still rolling on - Kaz and Tyler had a bust up but Faye and Teddy seemed to have patched things up and Teddy has been reunited with his beloved fragrance. The balance of the universe is restored.

In the preview for tonight's episode, we heard that Toby's head has spun all the way back to Chloe. Toby's really out here serving us an all you can eat buffet of absolute chaos - and we're here for it.

That recoupling was basically an elaborate way of sorting out the villa's lost property - we've got a stuffed toy dog, a sagittarius necklace, a can of Lynx and a ring, does anyone want to claim them?

Luke Franks is back with Arielle because Kem's gone into Casa Amor (only joking) - and they are joined by queen of Love Island episode reviews, Nadia Jae!

So, we saw the end of the recoupling last night - it was all a bit dramatic but at least Liam and Millie are back togeth- OH WAIT HERE COMES LILLIE. We were NOT expecting that (and let's be honest, neither was Liam...)

Everyone's back in the villa now - all 18 of them... bring out the bunk beds. There were a lot of chats to be had after the recoupling and some of our Islanders have even taken love advice from Toby. TOBY!!! What's going on in there?! It doesn't look like the aftermath is going to be over anytime soon, because in the preview for Sunday's episode we saw Tyler and Kaz having a *very* heated chat.

We've had some serious grafting this week - so Sideman is here with the JD Graft Off to help us crown this week's top grafter. Luke's playing for Kem again so the pressure is ON - it was 2-2 last week, who's going to take the lead?

Chloe and Hugo have officially caught the ferry from Friendship Island and they have docked on Love Island with their new couples! Safe to say everyone was THRILLED when Hugo arrived with Amy. Well done lad, job done.

Abi's now single after Toby chose to recouple with Mary. Are we going to have any more single lads and ladies tonight? Well, whatever you do, don't ask Kem and Arielle to predict what will happen... because according to you lot, they can't predict anything.

All our pals are here this morning... Aaron and Lucinda are also here to catch up with us about their time since leaving the villa. Is there a future on the cards for Laaron?!

AND, of course, it's Friday - so we're catching up with the marvellous Steff Todd as she rounds up the Casa Amor week with some amazing impressions.

The last time some post caused that much chaos was when they left a 'We Tried To Deliver Your Parcel But You Weren't In' card when they were delivering Kem's 4th place certificate for Dancing On Ice.

Alex and Olivia Bowen are here this morning to chat about last night's Casa chaos and because it's Throwback Thursday, we take them on a trip into the Love Island archive to have a wee reminisce about their time in the villa (well, the other villa... the one with the massive pool... and all the drama)

Ok so from this point on, we will split history into two parts: pre-postcard and post-postcard.

Up until this point it's been NO GIRLS ALLOWED (except Chloe) in the main bedroom - but after that postcard the girls have changed tact slightly... mad moves only from this point onwards.

In the preview for tonight's episode we saw the boys engaging in some *snogs* - like Alex said, it could have been the best preview we've ever seen. Dunno about you but we can't WAIT to see what goes down tonight.

The Raunchy Race should really be rebranded as the Prang Parade because there is nothing quite like that game to get our Islanders feeling paranoid about what their partners are doing in the other villa. We all know there was some serious snogging - but did you see them all jump into the pool wearing their trainers? No running by the poolside guys!!!

The sleeping arrangements in the main Villa were pretty simple - none of the OG girls stayed in the bedroom with the new boys. Meanwhile, in Casa Amor... there were... cuddles. That was only night one, what's going to happen if that brand new hideaway is open?

It's what we've all been waiting for... twelve fit new Islanders have landed, but are they going to turn any heads? Let's be honest... they probably will. There were a lot of snogs and quite a few flirty chats - it's all to play for, and we are HOOKED.

Who's going to go into that new hideaway? Who will be sleeping outside? Will there be a scandalous postcard? EEEEK.

We saw the result of the public vote last night and very sadly we had to say goodbye to Lucinda and Aaron! It's going to be reeeeeaaaaaaaally weird not having them in the villa - but at least they got to leave together on a happy note.

Casa Amor is coming and we saw a cheeky preview of how it's going to go down... the boys looked *very* excited in the clip we saw of last night's episode. Feathers - prepare to be ruffled.

Meanwhile, the Islanders got to show off their sporting abilities in their very own villa sports day. Hugo also got to show off his PE teacher credentials - did you see how he got his mouth round that whistle?!

Luke's back in with Arielle this morning (maybe Kem's having an extra day off because he's so annoyed about the whole friendship bracelet thing?) and they are joined by Yasser to talk about last night's episode!

Sharon pops in for a good old catch up about her time in the villa, and we get all the inside goss about what she really thinks is going on in the whole Hugo-Toby-Chloe situation...
