Do you have a short leg? A leg length inequality? You have probably been told this is the reason for your back pain! But is it? Many people are told they have a leg length discrepancy by chiropractors, physical therapists, or other doctors and yes this might be true, but it is rarely the reason for their pain! Uneven legs is common and normal! The evidence shows this does not cause pain and is rarely the reason for any problems at all!

Does marijuana help back pain? Is marijuana good for low back pain? Marijuana is becoming increasingly popular for the treatment of many types of pain as its utilization in the medical field increases.
Cannabis for low back pain has been found to be helpful in reducing pain and inflammation, but it is not a cure for low back pain. You still need to change your low back strength, mobility, and overall health for long-term relief accompanied by education on your condition so you can be in charge and not rely on ANY drug no matter how natural it may be! You don't want to need a constant crutch in life. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35128969/

Everyone is always stretching their piriformis or hip flexors to reduce back pain, but it just doesn't work! This only ever provides temporary relief! Piriformis pain or hip flexor tightness is commonly associated with low back pain, and most people will find simple stretches on the internet for these areas but they do not usually provide long term relief. Exercises to change the function of your hip, strengthen the hip flexor, strengthen the piriformis are going to be far better at resolving your low back pain, disc pain, or sciatica. My advice is to STOP stretching and start strengthening your hip flexor or piriformis for back pain or sciatica.

The QL or quadrates lumborum is a muscle of the spine responsible for stability in the lateral plane. Many people with a tight QL suffering with low back pain often feel trigger points, spasms, or knots in their QL. If you feel stretches for your quadrates lumborum muscle are not working, then try out these 3 function based exercises to strength your core and QL without having to stretch at all!

STOP FOAM ROLLING!
Your piriformis for sciatica that is.
I think for most people it's a big waste of time, and can even make it worse.
Here's how.
Sciatica refers to pain down the back of the leg following the path of the sciatica nerve. This can be caused by many things but is most commonly caused by a disc herniation pushing onto the nerve.
Many people will feel this pain in their glute and assume they have a piriformis problem.
A sensitive nerve does not like 2 things.
Most foam rolling positions for the piriformis do both of these things and can commonly make your sciatica worse!
I don't want you making these mistakes, and instead I'll give you 3 exercises you can do right now that are better than anything foam rolling could ever do and will actually get results!

Every been told your tight hip flexors are causing your back pain? And how often have lazy hip flexor stretches every provided long-term relief? EXACTLY MY POINT!
Tight hip flexors have been blamed for low back pain for far too long. "Stretch your psoas" they say. But it just doesn't work! Your back pain or sciatica continues! This is because stretching your hip flexors or psoas for low back pain is often a huge waste of time.
A tight muscle is a weak muscle and many people do not strengthen their hip flexors at all. This leaves you stretching a weak muscle hoping it will change, but it never does and your pain persists.
Strengthening your hips and improving your function will however change the tightness of your hips and possibly improve the way your low back or sciatica feels. So in this video I show you why "tight hip flexors" is a joke of a diagnosis, and what you can do instead to actually get results!
