Mad Times With Madison

Welcome back to one shot, where we don't drag out the story, and you get to listen to a whole case in one shot.

-

This week our best friend Caitlyn filled in for Madison so that we could release a brand new episode! Taryn tells us of a man named ira Einhorn, who looks dirty and got away with murder for years. It's truly a wild ride. Also no unicorns were murdered.

Hey guys! We were unable to record last week (election week) due to stalking the news, and working the polls. So we pulled this episode from our archive. This was recorded in our old setup so I'm sorry if the quality is not the greatest, we just really wanted to still get an episode out!

-

Madison details the horrific crimes of Mount Vernon, Ohio murderer Matthew Hoffman. Despite what happened, he still sticks by the story that this was a robbery gone wrong. Matthew staked out this home, brought a giant knife, and then murdered this innocent family when they found them. There is murder, kidnap, and the most insane details of his home....ever. Thank you for being so understanding this week I hope you still enjoy the story!!

Welcome to our new weekly segment One Shot! We take on smaller cases, so you can finish an interesting episode in one shot......and we can take one shot. ;) These will be 15 minute episodes about cases that deserve some recognition, but are not large enough for a full eposide.

-

For our debut One Shot Madison talks about 16 year old Eliza Wasni. Eliza went into a walmart on Memorial Day in 2017, stole weapons, and murdered the uber driver who picked her up. It is a shocking and sad story.

-

Let us know if you'd like us to keep doing these short One Shots! Happy weekend!

This week taryn talks about one of the most famous cases of all time. Even if you think you haven't heard of Ed Gein, you definitely have. Ed was extremely close to his mother, so when she passed away things started getting odd. However, when the police end up at his house they get way more than they bargained for. Buckle up, and get your throw up buckets ready. There's a lot of nervous laughter in here, because we're so uncomfortable we don't know what to do.

In 2008 the police in Orlando Florida got more than they bargained for when they responded to a stolen vehicle call. They learned toddler Caylee Anthony had been missing for a month and her mother Casey had not reported it. Casey came up with a story that Caylee was essentially kidnapped by her babysitter. The police were finding this family in lie after lie, and the investigation is a wild ride. Listen to part one to find out what events lead to one of the most controversial trials of all time. If you're a patreon, head to patreon for part 2 right now!

On January 11, 1991, 12 year old Shanda Sharer left her home around midnight with four girls who she thought were taking her to see her girlfriend Amanda. However, these four 16/17 year old girls had a much different plan for the night and for 12 year old Shanda. This week Madison dives into what happened that night, and the fall out years later.
