Did you know astrology is an ancient science? The most famous ancient astrologers might be the Three Kings. They found the Christ child by ‘reading’ the energy of the stars and planets.  I’ve been studying astrology since I was eleven years old, mostly as a way to understand myself and other people. I never believed in using it predictively, as I know the heavens simply reflect our own energy to us. That is why I was so excited to interview today’s guest, Joanette McGeoch, who has been a professional astrologer for over forty years! Joanette is a deeply spiritual person, with a profound connection to the Divine Feminine, and her spiritual perspective is what sets her apart from other astrologers I have met. 2. There are asteroids that reveal how the Divine Feminine is showing up in your chart! These asteroids were discovered in the late 1800s and indicate the ‘rising up’ of feminine energy on the planet.
3. When you understand which cycle of life you are in, you can work WITH that energy and things go more smoothly. You experience daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and life cycles. Knowing how to respond to them will bring you much more inner peace.

This Winter Solstice is upon us here in the Northern Hemisphere. The Archangel associated with this season is Uriel, whose name means “God is Light.” When we work with Uriel’s energy, we are asking for more light in our lives, and more light means more miracles!

Have you heard the phrase ‘success leaves clues?’ Miracles do too! You may think that miracles are random events, but if you know how to ‘read the signs’ you can begin to expect miracles in your life.

I have been studying the cycles and patterns of miracles and cosmic events for quite a while now and have my own system of interpretation. It’s how I plan out my year, both personally and in my business. I have never shared this system with anyone before…until now 

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of my business and share the exact process and tools I use to plan for a miraculous year. My four favorite tools are listed below. I also share why I believe Archangel Michael’s energy will be very strong in 2023! Key Learnings:

1. Every year I purchase an erasable wall calendar, hang it up and look it over. I look to see if anything jumps out at me about the year, and I take note of that. Once I have an overall sense of the year, I start to look into specific things, like eclipse dates and feast days.
2. The number one thing I look for are Mother Mary’s feast days. When are they? Do they coincide with cosmic events, like new moon, full moon, or eclipses? Or any other phenomena?  Once I do that, I look into holy days from other traditions, such as Shivaratri or Guru Purnima, or Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur.
3. One of the things that 2023 is already telling me is that Archangel Michael’s energy will be prominent, as there is an eclipse on 5/5, which is one of his power days. There is also a full moon on his feast day 9/29, so look for Michael’s energy to be present in 2023.

Have you ever received a ‘sign’ from the Other Side? How do you know if it’s a sign or something else? The answer is in this episode’s incredible book, Signs: The Secret Language of the Universe by Laura Lynne Jackson.

 

According to the author, a ‘sign’ is a message sent to you by the universe. Key Learnings:

1. The universe is sending us signs all the time. Signs are a method of communication from the Other Side. The Other Side is where our loved ones go when they cross over.

2. When your loved ones cross over, they are eager to let you know they are ok. They often choose a special sign to let you know they are with you. In this book, the author’s father chose music by Elvis Presley to be his sign.

3. You can choose a sign for your loved ones, rather than trying to figure out which one they have chosen. Rather than guessing, just choose something and tell your loved one to use that sign. Be on the lookout for it and you are sure to begin seeing the sign and connecting with them.

Key Learnings:

 

1. When Perdita Finn speaks of ‘the dead’ she isn’t just talking about people who have died. She is also referring to the very ground beneath our feet…the dead leaves, bugs, critters, stones and yes, bones of those who have gone before. The dead are always with us.
2. Fearing the dead is not a random thing. It was something that was constructed by religious authority to keep people from communing directly with their ancestors and make them dependent upon a priest or other such figure. Along with this came a fear of death itself and a need to be ‘saved’ from life on earth. The book Witches and Pagans by Max Dashu is a good reference to learn more about this.
3. A simple way to invite your ancestors and loved ones into your life is to create an ancestor altar. When you make room for the dead in your home and life, they will show up and make miracles with you.
