Mark Hunt Claims Victory in UFC Lawsuit vs. Dana White, Reflects on Gambling & Childhood Trauma

Listen Later

Mark Hunt is one of the toughest fighters to ever step into a ring or octagon.

This episode needs to come with a very strong warning. There is a lot of coarse language.

Also, other themes which could be unsuitable for some: drugs, alcohol, gambling, violence, and extreme childhood trauma.

None of this is done in a gratuitous way- Marks life has been one of extreme highs and lows and he is a man who doesn’t shy away from any of it.

I’ve included a list of helpful resources at the bottom of this page in case any of the content covered raises concerns for you or someone you care about.

Some of the subjects we cover include his ongoing legal battle with UFC which stems from his staunch anti-doping stance. This legal is stuff has been consuming Marks life in recent years and that becomes very clear during this podcast.

Beyond that we talk about his future aspirations in philanthropy and business.

His horrific childhood, forgiveness towards his abusive parents and breaking free from past traumas that shaped him

Lessons from imprisonment as a young man.

His reflections on dealing with various addictions.

Lessons from therapy and much more.

My goal with all these discussions is to try and get a better understanding of a person and their choices through non-judgemental conversation.

Thank you for listening and understanding.
