Later, Trump has invited all of his supporters to Washington, DC on January 6th, 2021. Washburn's working theory is that this may turn out to be a big street party to celebrate a Trump win. Afterward, former Congressman Trey Gowdy has made disparaging remarks about election fraud and suggests that candidates ought to move on. Gowdy erroneously makes the case that the 2020 election was free of irregularities.
