Israel does stand on its own two feet, and not surviving on American aid which he claims. Israel is a very important ally in a very dangerous part of the world, and a counterweight to dangerous nations like Iran. We cannot embrace a Bernie Sanders-type foreign policy and expect to survive, because our enemies will choke us economically and force us into more wars.
