The air has been released, 

The sails have tumbled down.

It feels like hope is lost. 

You can’t seem to see,

The possibilities,

You’re drowning and all is dark. 

PAUSE…

So close your eyes now,

And turn your attention away, 

From all the noise around you. 

The chaos distracts you,

From the hope that’s still here,

So settle in and quiet down. 

Breathe into you,

Deep and wide.

Letting the air feed you,

And remind you that you’re alive. 

Exhale and contract,

Concentrating within,

Releasing and relaxing. 

LONG PAUSE…

When you quiet the noise,

When you keep fear at bay,

You’ll see hope in the distance.

PAUSE…

A tiny, glowing light,

Who wants to show you the way,

Wants to show you there’s always a way.

PAUSE…

Reach out your hand,

And follow her,

Trust her. 

PAUSE…

The closer you get to this warm glowing light,

The more light you see that exists.

The darkness slowly fades away,

And soon, you are flooded with light,

Possibilities, 

Opportunities.

PAUSE…

You can see what you couldn’t see before. 

You can see…

Hope.
