Mentoring advisors and growing a team is an option many advisors are looking into. What most often discover, is that not all host agency organizations support the growing of a team under their umbrella. Some host agencies don't allow this at all, some have policies that disincentivize teams, and others simply haven’t set up their agency to support this type of growth.
