This week Nashville was hit by a tornado. Michael and I were in the eye of the storm, but somehow thankfully spared. Since our power went out, our best friends Bill and Amanda Satcher took us in. I grew up w Amanda and Bill plays guitar in A Thousand Horses and grew up with Michael. Amanda is 7 months pregnant and an Occupation Therapist who deals with life and death and losing and recovering everyday. We talk about navigating the highs and lows of life, dealing with trauma, the heartbreak of not being able to get pregnant for over a year, then getting pregnant and the highs and lows of that. This is honest best friend talk to it’s finest.
