In February 2007, a woman stalked and chased 30-year old Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman from the Orlando International Airport to her remote parking area. Then at the car, the woman pleaded for help, and Colleen opened her window. It was then that the woman’s intentions became clear – the woman was there to attack Colleen. Colleen was quick on her feet and escaped the perpetrator, thinking she had escaped a random attack.
Needless to say, it wasn’t a random attack at all. But a well thought out plan by a Naval Captain and NASA Astronaut - Lisa Nowak.
Dig in with Margot as she takes you through Colleen’s attack and her survival, as well as the life and eventual downfall of Lisa Nowak.

In December 1995, Adrianne Jones, a 16-year old high school student, was found brutally murdered in the town of Grand Prairie, Texas. The investigation was extensive and included many more witnesses than is typically necessary for older victims. Four suspects quickly rose to the top of the list, but one by one, detectives were able to take each suspect off the list, until the case went cold.
Then, one day in August 1996, detectives got a strange call from the Naval Academy that one of their freshmen cadets, Diane Zamora, had told her friends that her boyfriend, David Graham, a freshman at the Air Force Academy, had killed for her. Investigators were shocked but they had to look into it. The investigators may have gotten more than they bargained for with the killers’ written confessions, that read more like dramatic prose.
Dig in with Margot as she discusses the crazy 9-month long investigation, the killer confessions, and the facts of the case that resulted in a made-for-TV-movie.

Four disgruntled Fort Stewart Army soldiers plotted to assassinate the President, overthrow the government, poison the state apple orchard, bomb a nearby dam, and take over the Fort Stewart ammunition control point. But before they could take on their hefty goals, they thought they had a snitch among their militia ranks.
So, what does a militia do when they have a mole in their midst?
Dig in with Margot, as she discusses this deadly militia, who called themselves F.E.A.R. An acronym that stands for Forever Enduring, Always Ready.

In 1986, Kathleen Lipscomb was found naked and dead on the side of the road on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. But who killed her? The investigation would reveal that sometimes shiny, clean cut, high ranking military members who look like they could do no wrong – actually do wrong and ALMOST get away with it.
Dig in with Margot, as she discusses the murder of Air Force wife, Kathleen Lipscomb, and her mother, Nadine Adams, who would stop at nothing, including hiring a private investigator to get to the bottom of the mystery – who killed Kathleen Lipscomb?

“If I can’t have her, no one can.” Those were the words spoken by Senior Airman Jeromy Willis in 1993, after he was arrested after attempting to kill his wife twice, hunting her down to the military legal office (while he was still a free man), shooting her down, and then making his debut on America’s Most Wanted after being on the run for over two weeks.
Dig in with Margot, as she discusses the terror that Marie Willis endured leading up to her public murder, and the aftermath of a man who escaped from the confines of a maximum-security prison.

In December of 1988, an Army soldier terrorized Killeen and Fort Hood, Texas, during a 36-hour killing spree. Why did he do this? Allegedly he needed money to buy gifts for his girlfriend. He didn’t know this, but the Army had already initiated administrative discharge paperwork, but it would not be fast enough.
Dig in with Margot as she discusses the robberies, murders, court-martial, and death penalty case against 20-year old Army Private Dwight Jeffrey Loving.

Clint Lorance was a soldier who had everything going for him. He was raised in a conservative household and after 9/11, he was lining up to sign up for the Army. He quickly went up the enlisted ranks, then became a military officer. Clint was a fast burner in the military.
Then in 2012, he went on an Afghanistan deployment that would change the course of his life forever.
Dig in with Margot as she discusses the facts of the Clint Lorance war crime case as disclosed by the court and by the soldiers who were present during the murder of two unarmed Afghanistan men (a third man got away with minimum injury). And don’t forget to come back next week for the conclusion of the Clint Lorance story.
