This episode of The Mini Mood is pulled from a full length Mindfully Moody episode from earlier this year titled: Chakra Harmony: Balancing Your Energy Centers. In the full length episode, we give you the full rundown of the 7 main chakra energy centers, their functions and needs, and tips on how to keep them balanced.
As we’ve both been on our spiritual journeys, energy work has been something that both of us have experienced profound transformations with. ~ENERGY IS EVERYTHING~ and learning more about how our energy flows and how to master your energetic body may be just as transformative for you as it was for us.
The 7 main chakras are:
~ROOT CHAKRA~ at the base of your spine, red color. Your root chakra is your connection to your physical body, your literal ROOT to the earth. Our favorite exercise to balance this chakra is to practice grounding: go outside, take off your shoes, and place your bare feet on the grass/sand/forest floor/etc. This exercise will help you feel more balanced, grounded, and connected to yourself and Mother Earth.
~SACRAL CHAKRA~ below your belly button, orange color. Your sacral chakra is your connection to your divine feminine and masculine and your creativity. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: dancing (ecstatic dance is amazing!) and allowing energy to get unstuck and flow through your body and connecting to your creative side.
~SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA~ right above your belly button, yellow color. Your solar plexus chakra is your POWER, your confidence, your fire! Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are:
~HEART CHAKRA~ your heart space, green color. Your heart chakra is the bridge between your lower chakras (root, sacral, and solar plexus) and your spiritual chakras (throat, third eye, and crown). Your heart chakra is full of unconditional love, when your heart chakra is balanced, you’re about to live leading with love vs. fear. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are:
~THROAT CHAKRA~ at your throat, blue color. Your throat chakra is your authenticity, the ability to speak YOUR TRUTH! Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: voice activation (even if you think you’re not a great singer, that is okay!) to move energy through the body and authentic conversations with yourself and others.
~THIRD EYE CHAKRA~ in between your eyebrows, indigo color. Your third eye chakra is your intuition, your inner knowing, the little voice in your head with no doubt. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are:
~CROWN CHAKRA~ above your head, almost like a halo, purple or white color. Your crown chakra is your connection to the DIVINE! God, source, the universe, your highest self. Your crown chakra is like a portal to the magical spiritual world, ready to guide you. Our favorite exercises to balance this chakra are: meditation, calling in the support of your highest self, God, and/or your guides and breath work, which helps you clear stuck energy and get connected to your highest self.
