#30: If you just kept going - you'd WIN.

No comparing yourself to Fulano y Mengano. No 'shouldn't I have X, Y, Z by now'?

In this episode, I talk about what I learned by running my very first half-marathon with minimal training:

    1. Trust Yourself
    2. Stay in Your Lane
    3. Focus on the Long Term
    4. Comfort with Discomfort

Tune in for the loving push you've been needing to execute on those goals, amiga. Success is around the corner so quit being a baby and keep going.

  • Black Friday: Dos And DONTS. Listen To This Before You Black Friday Shop

#27: The Black Friday hunger games are upon us. Are you ready, amiga?

My 3 step process to shopping SMART this Black Friday:

    1. Acknowledge: acknowledge that you're about to be INUNDATED with sales you may not need. Pause, and consider if you really need the thing OR if you're experiencing darn good marketing.
    2. Plan: Make a list of items/experiences you need and value and a general budget for it. This'll help guide your decision making
    3. Shop Local: give your neighbors your money! Not the corporations

Tune in to hear all of this y mas and send the podcast episode to the amiga who's gearing up for Black Friday shopping tambien.

  • I Used Food Stamps As A Child And As An Adult (Plus the Rich vs the Rest)

#26: In this episode, I share my journey with food stamps as a child and again as an adult. I also talk about how some people are worried about the WRONG things! With wealth inequity at an all time high, we need to shift our focus to the rich NOT on what people have in their grocery carts.

The filthy rich? Yeah, they have ISSUES. But, can we replicate the wealth building strategies of some to reclaim collective power? Like saving for retirement early on and teaching our children how to invest responsibly from a young age? We sure can.

  • How To Stop Underearning And Make More Money with Career Coach Carla Santamaria

#22: Are you actually underpaid or do you just not believe that you can make more money?💸

As someone who grew up watching my parents work 2 jobs to make ends meet, I grew up thinking I had to do the same. These unchecked beliefs kept me broke for far too long. Additionally, the fact that I was already breaking cycles - like being the first to graduate college, being the first to fly internationally, being the first to land a corporate job - made it really difficult for me to see that HOLD UP: MORE is still available to me. I don't have to stop at just having it 'better than my parents'. In other words - I don't have to stay broke.

In this episode Cara Santamaria - career growth coach, speaker and host of 'The First Gen Coach' Podcast, breaks down the mindset shifts required to go from dreaming of more money to ACTUALLY making more.

Carla gives us a 3 step roadmap to stop underearning and make more money.

    1. Double your belief
    2. Get CLEAR on what you want
    3. Schedule the time to apply to jobs (or if an entrepreneur, to make those CEO moves!)

Carla did not hold back. Amiga, are you ready to make more money? Tune into this episode and learn how.
