  • Commit, Shake It Off, Put In the Reps: 3 Life Lessons from the San Antonio Spurs

#46: Stop getting off the stage before others have a chance to see you perform.

A lot of times we tell ourselves NO before even bothering to ask for what we want. (pinche miedosa)

    1. In this episode, we talk about the importance of COMMITTING to something with your chest, even when you're scared. Commit to the process, not just the outcome, and you will win.
    2. We talk about shaking things off EVEN when it feels like the loss is too big to come back from. The fact is, we don't know the future. Shake it off and keep it moving.
    3. Finally, we talk about putting in the reps. The painful, embarrassing, never ending reps. Success doesn't start at the championship game. It starts way before. Every step you take is vital to getting that win.

Amiga, stop letting your ego getting in the way of you achieving your dreams. Listen to this episode, then join me inside of the REJECTION challenge happening July 1-31. It's time to ask for what we want. No more getting in our own way.

#45: When's the last time you thought about menopause? 💸

    2. Then, we talk personal experience, advocating for yourself, community support y mas!

  • Reduce Your Expenses: 3 Ways To ACTUALLY Save Money

#43: Everyone says to 'reduce your expenses', but you can only cut so much before you're miserable

Instead of tracking every single expense to the penny (or extreme coupon-ing), focus on reducing costs for 3 things:

    1. Housing
    2. Transportation
    3. Eating out/fast food

BONUS (and most importantly): When reducing expenses STILL doesn't work, amiga, I'm not saying it'll be easy, but it may be time to earn more.

From renting a room in a house to save money, to making my biggest money mistake (financing a new car) to my struggles with cooking, this is an episode you don't want to miss.

    2. talk about the new RAP plan.
    3. share what I'm considering to make my best decision

#41: I walk too fast, eat too fast, and am addicted to social media. I need REST, and if you're reading this, you do too. But.... how do we 'find the time' for it?

In this episode, I share with you a 3 part framework that will help you find the time for rest. I also touch on:

    • the importance of slowing down
    • urgency as a habit
    • dopamine addiction
    • a one minute silence test
